In 1999, the Spirit intervened and the group “Glory” came to be. On a Mother’s Day Sunday, the regular gospel performers at the House of Blues were unable to perform. The House of Blues talent agent reached to Herb Riley and Tamir Mubarak and asked them to fill in. Herb and Tamir tried to resist. They had known each other through childhood and had played gospel, blues and folk music when they were kids, but not since. They finally agreed to play at the House of Blues and reached to their friend Bill Nelson to join them. That magical Sunday, changed the course of their lives…………
The House of Blues corporate leadership and management just happened to be in the audience that day, and since then “Glory” has been the featured entertainment every Sunday for the famous House of Blues “Gospel Brunch”. Please join us for a hand clapping, foot stomping ‘good time’ with “Glory”.
